Inclusive Healthcare
Accessibility Statement.
Rx OmniMedLink is committed to digital accessibility. Healthcare must be reachable by everyone, regardless of ability, device, or assistive technology.
Our Commitment.
Kelshad Cyber Systems And Technologies LLC is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We continually improve the user experience for everyone and apply the relevant accessibility standards.
Conformance Status.
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. Rx OmniMedLink is designed to be partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 level AA, with full conformance as an active development goal.
Accessibility Features Already in Place
- Keyboard navigation: All interactive elements are reachable and operable via keyboard alone
- Color contrast: Text meets WCAG AA contrast ratios in both dark and light modes
- Adjustable text size: A+ toggle increases body text by 12.5 percent system-wide
- Light and dark themes: User-selectable, persisted via local storage
- Semantic HTML: Proper landmarks, headings, and roles for screen reader navigation
- Reduced motion: Honors prefers-reduced-motion media query, disabling non-essential animations
- Focus indicators: Visible focus states on all interactive controls
- Alt text: All meaningful images include descriptive alternative text
Active Improvements
- Full ARIA labeling on all custom widgets (tabs, accordions, modals)
- Form error announcements for screen readers
- Skip-to-content links on every page
- Captioning for any video content we add
- Third-party accessibility audit, scheduled Q3 2026
Assistive Technologies.
Rx OmniMedLink is tested with the following assistive technologies. If your tool is not listed, that does not mean it will not work, only that we have not yet formally tested it.
- NVDA on Windows with Chrome and Firefox
- JAWS on Windows with Chrome and Edge
- VoiceOver on macOS with Safari
- VoiceOver on iOS with Safari
- TalkBack on Android with Chrome
Known Limitations.
Despite our efforts, some areas of Rx OmniMedLink do not yet meet full WCAG AA conformance. Known limitations include:
- Some custom dropdowns lack full ARIA combobox semantics, scheduled for v12
- The pharmacy locator map is not fully keyboard-navigable, alternative list view is available
- Drug search results use color coding to indicate match quality, text labels also included as a non-color cue
